2020 has been overwhelming, no doubt. We ALL feel that. It can be easy to get caught up in isolation, AKA quarantine, but let's not forget to give back this Christmas. This year may be the most needed!
Sometimes knowing where to start is the hardest part.
Never take for granted the small gestures, that actually end up making the biggest impact.
Some examples of this is -
Pay for the next person in line at the drive-thru.
Send a hand written card or note to somebody who wouldn't expect it. Since you can't visit nursing homes right now, send cards to the elderly who are so alone right now. Ugh! Just writing that breaks my heart.
Make a point to wish as many strangers as you can a "Merry Christmas." (regardless of how much or little cheer you're feeling)
Some other ways to give back this year-
Donate blood/plasma. So many people can benefit from this with COVID right now.
Pick a family in need and buy Christmas gifts for them.
Clean out your children's toy box and donate.
Buy a Christmas meal for a family in need.
We're all in this together, and let's be there for each other this year! It's the best gift of all.

Incorporating decorative and functional vintage pieces into your home is a great way to add character to your living space. However, it may require more than grabbing the first rustic item you find at a garage sale to achieve the ‘vintage look’. There is a fine line between worn, outdated pieces of home décor and timeless, classy pieces.
